One number

Dine in, take out, delivery and a table all run through the phone

There is no ordering app and no web form behind this page, which is worth knowing before you go looking for one. The listing records the cafe as taking reservations, as delivering, and as good for children; the window carries a hand-lettered card reading WE DELIVER above the same number.

Parking available in the back — a detail printed on the glass and recorded in no directory. A second awning on the side elevation advertises Atlantic City bus tickets, which makes this a coffee shop, a kitchen and a ticket agency on one corner.

Corrections & Notices

Outdoor seating. The Google listing for this address records none. There is a canopied sidewalk deck with four tables, photographed by the cafe itself and plated on this page.

Breakfast. Nine of the ten photographs on their Google listing are of breakfast — eggs over easy with bacon and home fries, French toast, western omelettes, pancakes. The card we were given has no breakfast section at all. Breakfast is served from 7 AM and we cannot price a single item of it. This is the first thing to ask the owner for.

Not this cafe. Briarwood Bagel Cafe at 138-77 Queens Blvd is a separate business fourteen doors along. Nothing from its menu appears here.

Prices are taken verbatim from the cafe's own printed card. They have not been confirmed as current — Google lists a $10–$20 spend per head, which the card predates. Call (718) 297-7494 for today's prices.

Unresolved

Six things this page does not say

No source publishes when the cafe opened, who owns it, or how long it has stood on this corner, so this page states none of them. The blanks below are questions rather than gaps to fill.

  1. Is the supplied card current? Every price on the site comes from it.
  2. What year did the cafe open? There is no est-line anywhere without one.
  3. Who is Spiro? Four menu sections carry the name and nothing else does.
  4. The sidewalk deck in the photographs — still there, and seasonal?
  5. Are the Atlantic City bus tickets still sold, and on what schedule?
  6. Is there a delivery radius, or does the phone number cover it?
